Barney's Dog Door

We had been trying to come up with a plan for a dog door for Barney for quite some time. We have very little open wall space in the kitchen for a dog door so we thought about lots of different options. While Dad was here Garrett and Dad collaborated and came up with our ultimate solution.  The dog door is in the laundry room and in the garage. Rather than give Barney free access to the garage he has a tunnel to go from the laundry room to the outside on the side of the house via the garage.  Garrett also had to build a ramp for Barney.  Without further delay here are the photos:
